Foundation Programme

Summer Holidays

The Foundation Programme is a four-day holiday experience for young people aged 11–14, focused on staying active, having fun, and building confidence in a supportive and welcoming environment.

Throughout the programme, young people will enjoy a mix of sports, games, team challenges, and inflatables, alongside plenty of free time to relax, socialise, and recharge. Activities include football, basketball, and outdoor games, with opportunities to take part at their own pace.

Alongside the active sessions, participants will take part in short, hands-on workshops such as first aid, cooking, and practical life skills. These sessions are delivered in a relaxed, interactive way and are designed to build confidence, teamwork, and communication through participation rather than formal learning.

Young people will also have opportunities to work together in light-touch group activities, helping them build friendships, develop leadership skills, and feel positive about their abilities.

Participants can choose to attend any two days or all four days, offering flexibility for families.

Locations

The Foundation Programme will be delivered at the following locations and dates throughout the summer:

• Monday 27th July to Thursday 30th July - New Forest​

• Monday 27th July to Thursday 30th July- Winchester

• Monday 3rd August to Thursday 6th August- Fareham

• Monday 3rd August to Thursday 6th August- Havant

• Monday 10th August to Thursday 13th August- Andover

• Monday 10th August to Thursday 13th August- Farnborough

• Monday 17th August to Thursday 20th August- Basingstoke

• Monday 17th August to Thursday 20th August- Eastleigh

Cost

• £99 for all 4 days

• £50 for any 2 days

• Free for pupils who receive Free School Meals and are HAF eligible
